HAND-OFF / BUY-OUT
A well-executed handoff will ensure a seamless transition from the Pre-Construction department - where all the clients' requests, schedule and needs are included in a contract, to the Operations Department - where it will move to the operational phase. The handoff will allow for a smooth transfer in client expectations and, most importantly, the associated cost management.
Premier ensures this process is effective and followed as it reduces any chances of project disruptions due to material shortages. The material procurement process is responsible for ensuring that any material sourced is at the most competitive prices possible that will lead to significant cost savings for the clients.
At Premier, all Project Managers ensure contract management is persistent to support the project efficiency, cost-effectiveness and schedule adherence. The contract management process ensures the coordination of resources, equipment, cost allocations and labor costs are all considered to meet the client needs and expectations with transparency.
Premier uses various resource management software for heavy equipment, small tools, materials, etc. where the Project Manager and team can efficiently schedule and coordinate availability of these resources. This ensures that the right resources are allocated to the right tasks at the right time, leading to improved productivity and reduced delays.
Similar to the contract management, the project cost management is in-depth and specific to the cost related to each task that takes place to ensure the budget expectations are met. This process includes strict communication between the Field Superintendent and the Project Manager to ensure the data provided to clients in billing, CO's and T&M's is accurate.

OPERATIONS MEETING
Premier strives to lead the industry as a 'Solution Based Company'; therefore, reports are important to analyze project's goal, budget and forecast trend to ensure proactivity before running into any financial delays.
Schedule management plays a pivotal role in the life cycle of a project. It helps ensure timely project completion and proactively mitigates potential risks to adhere to project goals. At Premier Underground Construction we strive to complete projects before a scheduled date and deliver quality finished products to our customers.
At Premier, field operations are crucial to meet the Safety Federal Regulations and compliance for the construction industry. Our field leadership team is responsible to ensure that the daily trench inspection, bore logs and JSA's are completed through the company's advanced technology system. The field operations allow for project visual updates and status which lead to daily schedules and meetings to ensure the project is in line with the expectations of the clients.
Keeping a project schedule in mind is always on the forefront of our operations team. Having an in-house mechanic crews readily available ensures that there is no schedule delay due to equipment failure.
Communication is a must at Premier. The operations daily meetings allow for adequate and accurate project planning day by day to ensure cost effectiveness and schedule adherence.

As a part of Premier's Family Value, we take Safety very seriously as we want to ensure that each one of our employees and families feel safe. COMMUNICATION
Our Quality Control processes and site visits ensure that the construction work meets the company and client standards. As a part of Premier's Quality Control Program, we ensure that cross training is provided any time the opportunity arises to ensure we live by the 20-60-20 rule and avoid continuous and/or similar quality issues.
Project Close Outs are important and conducted alongside the Quality Control team to guarantee that the finished product meets the client's expectations.
We understand that effective communication is vital in the construction industry. It not only ensures the project expectations and requirements are met, but also facilitates timely decision-making, enhances team collaboration and productivity, and manages client expectations.
